Working website

Well, I changed the converter, spent way too time on stupid problems before realizing they were simple, and now I have a small headache.

But, IT’S ALIVE!

I feel relieved to know that the very letters I am typing in my Vim window will be splashed across the site in classy gruvbox colors.

Caveats, or it’s 3AM and I’m sleepy

There’s a few caveats that I’d like to get around fixing :

• The posts are not added automatically to the index yet
  • The “inserting a line” part is done
  • I can’t find a way to execute shell commands inside a string in sed
  • Which means no automatic title or filepath in the index
• The site does not have an RSS feed (which I feel is important)
• Neocities sounds interesting (for the RSS issue and others)

I realize the last one is not a caveat, but after spending a few hours trying to understand why git-pages throws 503 errors when everything works fine, I don’t want to switch. That’s a problem for future me, I suppose.
